Diamondback Gulch Extreme Jeep Tour

Designed for adventurous travelers, this experience takes you beyond the paved roads and into the heart of Sedona’s backcountry.
A True Off Road Adventure
Bumpy terrain and exciting climbs make this one of Sedona’s more adventurous Jeep experiences. As your experienced guide navigates the trail, you'll travel across rugged desert terrain and along the ridge of Doe Mesa, with spectacular views surrounding you.
The route offers a combination of technical terrain and scenic stretches, making the journey as much a part of the experience as the destinations along the way. Guests should be prepared for a lively, bumpy ride and an authentic off-road experience.
Discover Sedona’s Famous Rock Formations
The tour takes you through an area surrounded by some of Sedona’s well-known natural landmarks. Along the way, you'll explore views of Boynton Canyon, Chimney Rock, and Capitol Butte, with opportunities to stop and appreciate the scenery. Your guide will help point out notable formations and features as you travel through the landscape, adding context to the remarkable scenery around you.
Navigate the Sidewinder Trail
One of the highlights of the adventure is traveling along the Sidewinder Trail into the Diamondback Gulch. The route winds through the desert before reaching a dramatic grand arroyo, where your Jeep will navigate the rugged terrain and climb its way back out.
The changing landscape creates a dynamic experience, with rocky trails, canyon walls, and expansive desert views throughout the journey.
Seven Canyons and Scenic Views
As you travel through the backcountry, you'll have opportunities to admire views across seven canyons and towering red-rock formations. The combination of elevation, rugged terrain, and open vistas provides plenty of memorable scenery.
