Called the "Norman Rockwell of Entertainment/Sports Art Industry", Massachusetts Native, Neal Portnoy moved to Las Vegas in 2016 and currently is the owner/artist of Portnoy Gallery in Las Vegas, as well as the former Illustrator to the Las Vegas Review Journal.

After receiving a scholarship from Division One powerhouse Miami under the legendary coach Ron Fraser, Portnoy suffered an injury, which effectively ended his baseball career.
It was then when he realized he was more talented creating images with felt-tip markers than throwing sliders.

Over his art career, Neal has been commissioned by corporate and private clients in the sports, public and entertainment marketplace.

Active in philanthropic causes, Neal has partnered with the Children’s Miracle Network, Doug Flutie Jr. Foundation for Autism. and most recently with the Tyler Robinson Foundation which he was recently commissioned to illustrate a piece for the band The Imagine Dragons (founding members of the organization) creating a limited edition signed & numbered run of posters which is on the Tyler Robinson 100% of the proceeds is donated to TRF which supports families dealing with pediatric cancer. His background in caricatures allows him to recreate the personality of his subjuects and his use of felt-tip markers pops colors off the board. This unique medium allows Neal to deliver movement and texture that makes his art so special. Known in the corporate world as an entertainer with a quick wit and sleight of hand, Neal has entertained functions for many corporations including Citizens Bank, NFC, Iron Mountain, Allmerica Financial, Reebok, St. Gobain/Norton Co., Starter, ESPN and United Healthcare.
