Weekend Getaway for Two offer is valid for two night stay on weekends only (Arive Friday - check-in begins after 3:00 PM, and leave Sunday, check-out is by 11:00 AM). Includes lodging, horseback riding & meals. Rates are inclusive of accommodation, horseback riding, and all other ranch activities, such as roping, target shooting, archery, horse shoe pitching, team penning and barrel racing. Service charge of 15%, local sales tax of 9.6%, a booking and card convenience fee may be applicable and would be added to bill at checkout if applicable. No refunds for cancellations occurring within 60 days of arrival date. Promotional value expires 120 days after purchase. Amount paid never expires. Situated at the foothills of the Rincon mountain range, the ranch offers thousands of acres to explore on trail rides by the hour, half day, or all day, which is the longest the horses can last without their daytime soap operas. Back at the ranch, Ron also conducts Western BBQs and equine themed birthday parties.

The Double R Ranch has developed a diverse horseback riding program. Our gentle well trained horses are the heartbeat of the Ranch and we have some of the best trail riding available anywhere. This is your chance to experience the true Western lifestyle that most only see in the movies.
Double R Ranch offers exceptional horseback riding in the mountainous rugged Arizona terrain surrounding the ranch. Whether you’re an experienced rider or it’s your first time in the saddle, we’ll make sure you get exactly what you’re looking for!
Beginners can enjoy a leisurely ride on the gentle trails surrounding the
Ranch and riders with more experience will have opportunities for
different guided rides in the surounding mountains. Many of our mountain trails will challenge even the most advanced riders. We have trail rides for beginners, intermediate and more advanced riders.
If you are someone who seeks the adrenalin rush of a faster paced ride and don't want to ride "nose to tail", we offer fast rides where you will be loping (canter) and galloping, that will be sure to satisfy that urge
Your trail ride adventure will begin with properly matching you and one
of our sure footed horses, followed by an orientation that is designed
to help you feel confident on your horse. Emphasis is always placed on
your safety, and the welfare of the horse.
You can ride for an hour or all day if you like. It is an honor to be able to ride in the Rincon Mountain Range and the Coronado National Forest and it is our privilege to ride in these amazing areas with you. We feel we are in
one of the most beautiful places in the world. Together we will teach you about the rich local history, show you the pristine beauty, and share our wonderful
